Final Profession 09th May 2026

Heralds of Life, Held by Love

It was a day filled with profound joy, deep peace, and overwhelming happiness — a day on which my call to be a Herald of Life, held firmly by Love, was answered with a wholehearted and irrevocable “Yes.” As we gathered to celebrate my Final Religious Profession, this sacred milestone shone as a truly memorable occasion in my life, beautifully marked by gratitude, prayer, and a vibrant spirit of community.

My celebration began on the morning of May 9th with a beautifully animated prayer service, led by Sr. Vishala, Sr. Felicia, and Sr. Sarita. Their prayerful guidance created a peaceful and reflective atmosphere that helped me prepare my heart for the solemn commitment that was to unfold — my commitment to go forth as a herald, carrying the gift of life to all.

Directly following the morning prayer, a wonderful surprise awaited me: my sisters warmly welcomed me into the refectory with a joyful song and dance, setting a tone of pure celebration for the day ahead. Love, it seemed, had already taken hold of my morning.

At 11:00 a.m., the Holy Eucharistic Celebration commenced, solemnly presided over by Rev. Fr. Joseph D’Mello SJ, who was joined by neighboring priests. I was also deeply delighted and honored by the presence of my own parish priest, who traveled to witness my vows and offer me his blessings — a tender reminder that I walk this journey never alone.

Fr. Joseph D’Mello’s inspiring and deeply moving homily touched my heart and the hearts of everyone present. He beautifully reminded me that my religious life is a continuous journey of love, steadfast faithfulness, sacrifice, and joyful surrender to God’s holy call — a life poured out in service, announcing by word and witness that life, in all its fullness, is God’s greatest gift to humanity. With a heart overflowing with gratitude, I joyfully offered my entire self to God. Throughout the Liturgy, I experienced the Lord’s presence in a remarkably tangible and profound way.

My day was made immeasurably richer by the loving presence and encouragement of my Provincial Superior, Sr. Mary Chetana, my sisters from various communities, and my dear family members. Their wisdom, prayers, and constant accompaniment have been the very arms of Love holding my journey steady, strengthening every step I have taken along the path toward this beautiful day.

The Bangalore community lovingly organized my entire celebration with immense dedication, care, and generosity. Every detail was thoughtfully arranged, making my liturgy both vibrant and deeply prayerful. Following the Holy Mass, we had a fellowship lmeal — a beautiful moment of communion, as my sisters, priests, relatives, and well-wishers came forward to extend their congratulations and blessings to me. The room was alive with laughter, smiles, and our collective thanksgiving to God.

Indeed, it was a colorful, radiant, and unforgettable celebration — a milestone filled with grace, unity, and love that I will forever cherish in my heart. As I begin this new chapter of my perpetual profession, my call rings clear: to go forth as a Herald of Life, held by Love, and to proclaim — in every moment and to every person I encounter — that Life is beautiful, sacred, and worthy of joyful proclamation
