Notre Dame School Theegarajupally

Marking the Platinum Jubilee Year

As Notre Dame in India marks its Platinum Jubilee, celebrating 75 years of Service in India, the school community has come together to commemorate this milestone in a meaningful and sustainable way. Planting a tree in the school campus was a significant moment for everyone in the school. We started the day with a meaningful assembly on the importance of a tree which culminated in planting a tree representing the school’s enduring commitment to education, community, and the environment. The tree will grow and flourish, just as the school has, providing shade, beauty, and inspiration for years to come.

Students of class X were the privileged ones to plant the sapling along with our three Sisters to mark the Jubilee year. By planting a tree, Notre Dame School is not only celebrating its rich history but also contributing to the fight against climate change and promoting environmental stewardship among its students.

Platinum Special – Drawing competition

Platinum Jubilee Special Drawing Competition was conducted on 12th July. There was a great enthusiasm among the students to show their unique talent. There were students from classes 6 to 10 for the unique competition. Students were given the topic on the previous day. They were asked to pay attention to the wall hangings those were based on our congregation.  Their eagerness in making minute observation made us realize how they love us. After the competition was done, we explained to them the meaning of each picture. They were very happy to know and be part of Notre Dame.

Platinum Special Notre Dame Day with the Workers – The Star Contributors

One of the greatest occasions was Notre Dame Day celebrated on Feb 2nd. We initiated the Platinum Jubilee year celebrations in the school that day. There was a meaningful assembly conducted by the students and teachers in honor of our pioneers and all those who ministered in our school. Along with honoring our sisters, we also honoured our non-teaching staff that day, whose unique contribution to our school keeps our students healthy, and happy.

It was a day of reflection, recognition and appreciation for the invaluable role every worker plays in building up the school. We wanted to make them feel accepted, supported and encouraged by celebrating their day along with the Notre Dame Day. There were tears of joy in the eyes of maintenance staff and great love for the whole school.
