Installation of the New Provincial Team
Our Lady of Visitation Province
The Our Lady of Visitation Province witnessed days of grace and renewal from 27th to 29th December 2025, marking the installation of the new Provincial Team and moments of spiritual preparation and joyful celebration.
On 27th December 2025, the Provincial Team before installation participated in an enriching input session conducted by Sr. MarySujita, former Superior General. The session proved deeply insightful and inspiring. Drawing from her experience in leadership, she offered practical guidance, wisdom, and encouragement to the team as they embarked on their new journey of service in the Province. Her reflections emphasized collaborative leadership, fidelity to the charism, unity among members, and reliance on God’s providence in carrying forward the mission entrusted to them.
On 28th December 2025, the Provincial Team dedicated the day to a recollection which continued until the afternoon. It was a spiritually nourishing time marked by silence, prayer, and reflection. This period of interior renewal enabled the team to deepen their spiritual grounding and prepare themselves for their responsibilities with clarity, peace, and renewed commitment. The recollection strengthened their resolve to serve the Province with humility and dedication.
The celebrations reached a joyful culmination on 29th December 2025. The day began with the celebration of the birthday of our Provincial Superior, Sr. Mary Chetana. A special birthday prayer was meaningfully led by Sr. Shobha, Sr. Sunari, and Sr. Selma, invoking God’s choicest blessings upon her life and mission. This was followed by the Holy Mass celebrated by Fr. Vishal, adding grace and solemnity to the occasion.
At 11:45 a.m. on the same day, the Prayer Service for the Installation of the New Provincial Team was conducted by Sr.MarySujita. The newly installed Provincial Team is:
- Sr. Mary Chetana – Provincial Superior
- Sr.Mary Priyanka – Vice Provincial
- Sr. Mary Shobha – Secretary
- Sr.Mary Pushpa – Treasurer
- Sr. Mary Priscilla – Provincial Councillor
- Sr. Mary Ranjana – Provincial Councillor
On this significant occasion, heartfelt gratitude was expressed to Sr. MaryAlpana and Sr. MaryNitisha for their selfless and dedicated service to the Province as Provincial Councillors. Their generous contribution to the growth and governance of the Province was gratefully acknowledged.
Following the prayer service, a time of wishing and felicitation was held in the refectory. The sisters expressed their love, support, and solidarity with the newly installed team. Sisters from the communities of Koramangala, Pochampalli, Mysuru, and Somanahalli participated in the celebration, making the gathering vibrant and memorable.
These three days were marked by spiritual depth, unity, gratitude, and hope. With renewed faith and collective commitment, Our Lady of Visitation Province confidently moves forward under the leadership of the newly installed Provincial Team, trusting in God’s continued guidance and blessings.
