Assisi English Medium School, Warangal, Andhra Pradesh

Assisi English Medium School,Warangal was started on June 13th 2005 with 13 students under the able guidance of Sr.M. Patima, the Headmistress. Sr. Shylaja, Bro. Sleeva (Capuchin) and teacher Sweta were the pioneering staff.

The first correspondent of the school was Fr. Inna Vatty OFM (Cap).

The first Parents Meeting was conducted on June 25th. The parents were extremely happy with the English Medium School run by Fathers and Sisters in their locality and promised their full cooperation in the development of the School. New admissions began coming in and at the end of the year there were 46 students from Nursery to class II. The little fledgling school celebrated Independence Day, Teachers’ Day, Children’s Day Christmas etc. along with games and competitions of all sorts right from year one. The First Annual Day was on March 11th, 2006 with Rt. Rev. Thumma Bala, the Bishop of Warangal Diocese as the chief guest.

Seven fruitful years have gone by and the little school of Assissi English Medium has grown smartly into class IX. The dedication, determination and the resilience of the principals Srs. M. Nitisha and Naveena, and correspondents, staff and students and the co-operation of the parents have accompanied the school to great heights of progress and development
