Holy Spirit School, Mukka, Mangalore

Holy Spirit School Mukka was started by the Parish Priest Rev. Fr.Harold C D’souza in 2001. From 2004 Sisters of Notre Dame took charge of Holy Spirit English Medium School from Dominican Sisters. Sr.M.Divya the 1st H.M of this institution along with other sisters worked hard to bring up the standard of the school. Initially we had few students and the school had a slow growth. In the growth process of the school Srs.Divya, Kavya, Daisy, Jyotika, Prescilla, Dulari, Sarita, Jaisheela and Sneha played vital roles. Sr.M.Sneha is the headmistress of the school at present. The school has grown to std.X and the first batch of students will be writing the S.S.L.C. examination this year. The total number of students is 400. The students are blessed with efficient and well trained teachers, good science lab, computer lab, libraries, playground and Class Edge by TATA Interactive System, through which the students gain sufficient knowledge to compete with the advanced world of technology. Our students take part in inter-school activities like sports, cultural activities etc. Family spirit is the bond that keeps us united.
