Golden joy sparkled the whole day as the province celebrated the golden jubilee of dear Sister Mary Archana on May 12th 2018. The jubilee spirit heightened with the arrival of guests and Sisters from the various communities of the province. The day began with the Community Holy Hour in the morning and ended with the Eucharistic Celebration in the evening. The presence of Sr. Suma of the Patna Province added much joy to the celebration. The Liturgy celebration was presided over by Fr. Mani Poovakot SJ. His inspiring homily added to the solemnity of the occasion to raise our hearts in thanksgiving to God for the marvelous things God has done in Sr. Archana’s life. The decorations, the common prayers, the festive meals and the togetherness of the communities expressed creativity and joy. It was a day of jubilation and celebration – celebration of Sr. Archana as a person and her long years of service to both the provinces. We joined Sr. Archana in thanking the good God for His immense blessings and faithfulness to her for the past fifty years and many more years to come. The day ended with a lovely programme by young and vibrant junior sisters and surprising impromptu by the senior sisters.
