ALOYSIA MANE 4TH JUNE 2022

ALOYSIA MANE – A THRILL OF HOPE

Aloysia Mane is situated in Somanahalli village on Kanakapura Main Road Bangalore. The children of Aloysia Mane came to Somanahalli on the 3rd of June 2022. They seemed to be eager and happy to be with us except one or two who were crying and affected by parting pains. Soon there was laughter and excitement as they started discovering something new around them. The Sisters stay closed to them. Throughout their time of adjustment they helped them to feel at home. Our Foundress, Sr. Maria Aloysia began the Congregation of the Sisters of Notre Dame, Coesfeld Germany, to serve the neglected, the needy and the homeless little girls by giving them quality education and a secure home. With this mission in mind we, the Notre Dame Sisters are very happy to accompany these young souls.

A SAFE HEAVEN FOR UNDERPRIVILEGED GIRLS: BLESSING OF ALOYSIA MANE

4th June 2022 was an auspicious day for the Sisters of Notre Dame as we had the blessing of ‘Aloysia Mane’ a home for the little girls from challenging backgrounds. Rev Fr C. Peter, the Parish Priest of Somanahalli, blessed Aloysia Mane where the children would stay. He prayed for the children and their dear and near ones and gave a beautiful Message about this new mission that we have accepted to care for these children who have been deprived of their basic needs. Some of the children joyfully joined the singing with their melodious and innocent voices. Sr. Mary Chetana, the Provincial was very happy to be present on this occasion and prayed for many blessings upon the children. Sr. Mary Chetana and other Sisters who joined us from Bangalore spent quality time with the children. The children were so excited that they sang and danced for the guest.
