FAREWELL TO SR. MARY USHA
Those we love do not leave us; they walk alongside us every day; unseen, unheard, but always near.” Our dear Sr. Mary Usha left for heavenly home 8th July 2023. We received this news with heavy hearts yet believed in His will for us. We paid our loving respect to our Sr. Mary Usha for her faith-filled and love-filled life. The community had the wake service in Mysore was at 7 am in the morning. The Holy Eucharistic Celebration was solemnized by Apostolic Administrator of Mysore Diocese, Rt. Rev. Emeritus Archbishop Bernard Moras, along with priests and religious priests of Mysore. Sr. Mary Usha’s siblings, Sr. Mary Nisha, SND, and Sr. Mary Jolly, FCC, and her beloved family members, along with most of our sisters from various communities, were present. Sr. Mary Alice and Sr. Mary Lalitha from Assumption Province were also present to pay their respects to Sr. Mary Usha.
After the Holy Eucharistic Celebration and the prayers, the body was taken to the newly built cemetery at Julie Bhawan, Hinkal. Fr. Santa OFM Cap blessed the grave, and we bid goodbye to our dear Sr. Mary Usha, SND. Dear Sister Mary Usha, we cradle your love in our hearts and in our memories…”
