JUBILEE 29TH OCT 2023

JUBILATE DEO – 2023

What a grace it was, what a joy it was, to be gathered on the lovely day on 29th October 2023 for the Thanksgiving Eucharistic Celebration! We, Sr. Mary Naina and Sr. Mary Sujaya, the GoldenJubilariansand Sr. Mary Nitisha and Sr. Mary Prabha, the Silver Jubilarians, with joy and love voice our indebtedness to God, to Sr. Mary Chetana and to every sister of the Province. The entrance dance’s hymn did capture the spirit of the day, the joy rippling through the liturgy and drawing us across the threshold of ordinariness to a place of Jubilee. The family members of the Jubilarians, invited sisters, priests, relatives, and friends all gathered to give thanks for the faithfulness of these religious sisters over the past 50 and 25 years and to encourage them as they continue their Jubilee journey and whose love, inspiration and support helped them to reach this blessed day.

The Main Celebrant, Rev. Fr. Peter Mascrehnes, along with concelebrants began the Solemn Celebration of The Eucharist at 11 a.m. with a note of appreciation to the Jubilarians for their Life of Commitment.

The beautifully decked hall, angelic choir and special prayers made the Eucharistic celebration meaningful an awe-inspiring. Followed by the Holy Mass was the time for special greeting, felicitation, cutting of Jubilee cake and sumptuous meals.

The day ended with an hour-long cultural programme hosted by the sisters from various communities, which we attended by the Jubilarians, their friends and relatives.

Our earthly life is a pilgrimage, a march together with Christ.

Everything in us proclaims God’s greatness in us all the years of your life!”
